FREEDOM WARS Remastered
FREEDOM WARS Remastered might attract so many eyeballs of players. As it's a game first releasing exclusively for PlayStation Vita in 2014, the people started to get much involved with that game and along with some serious work presented by its dev team-so much about Freedom's desolate dystopia, capturing storyline, and features of co-operative work. The same can be said of the all-revived sequel - Freedom Wars Remastered, already presented to console owners on updated but faithful versions.
A World Governed by Panopticons
Freedom Wars is an overpopulated future where everything is scare to be found. It's the game where life of its citizen is a crime. They are born in Panopticons-archetypal city-states of statuesque giganticity-they have been sentenced there instantly to a million years in penal labor. The only way these people can try to shorten interminably long term, they have to fight those monstrous creatures, known as Abductors, rescue captive civilians-all under the watchful eyes of the authorities.
This world is, though grimmer as it appears graceful and reminds one at every step to think of freedom as something which only the opulent few can buy through draconian laws and the stratified social setup in place.
Packed with Graphic and Performance Value
The remastered version breathes life into the original with gorgeous 4K visuals and HDR support. Not to mention landscapes of urban Panopticons which were woefully under-detailed once, nor those gigantic Abductors that roam the battlefields like never before. Each battlefield-from abandoned industrial zones to futuristic waste-would be visual heaven.
This is also enhanced: silky smooth 60fps gameplay that makes everything from firing a gun, to swinging Thorn, to grappling up onto an Abductor feel fluid and responsive. The changes bring unprecedented immersion and exhilaration to these frenetic battles.
Deep, Thrilling Gameplay
In short, Freedom Wars is a team and strategy game. Whether doing missions solo, or even with AI assistance, or getting together with your friends over the internet, victory is all about coordination. Third-person action blended with RPG elements lets you wield a mix of ranged and melee weapons to fit your playstyle.
The Thorn is a whip-like energy tool that doubles as a weapon and a grappling hook. It could be used either to traverse towering Abductors, snatch valuable resources, or immobilize enemies. All of these make battles a little more creatively fluid, requiring tactical thinking and strategic play.
Besides the fight, the game has a robust customization system. From the weapon and the equipment to the look of your character, almost everything can be customized according to your preference. The remastered edition comes with new weapons and options for customization, allowing the player to be more expressive.
More Content
Most important, though is the added content of the remastered version with more chapters to the story, therefore explaining more about the lore of the Panopticons and the origin of the Abductors on what had been left open from the end of the original game. Well sure, side quests, maps and even more variations in the enemies are all there, so play away and enjoy all, but perhaps more so by those who experienced playing through that Vita version well more than just a few dozen times.
Re-imagined Multiplayer
Multiplayer has long been one of the core foci in Freedom Wars. It all, of course, sets it to an entirely new standard in this remastered version of the game, with cross-play on supported hardware, improved matchmaking, and dedicated servers all but making it totally accessible to jump in with buddies or join some unknowns, take down whatever threats there be.
Competitive players would probably welcome ranked multiplayer with unique rewards they can brag about. Whether seasoned or fresh from the box, for thousands of hours of multiplayer socializing in this game known as Freedom Wars Remastered, that is what they might expect.
From its core, Freedom Wars can be considered one fight game for freedom in a designed world that takes it away from you. The stories hold themes of sacrifice, oppression, and rebellion and push the player into questioning his role within the system as assigned to him. Deepening those very themes through new introduced characters, cutscenes, and even dialogue, the remastered edition of Freedom Wars really makes the story more engrossing and emotionally relevant.
Why It Matters
Freedom Wars was one great gem that showcased the capabilities that the PlayStation Vita could be extended to, although with hardware somewhat limiting it in its originality. The stage it deserves comes with this remastered version with modernized visuals, more content, and even better game balance in playing. Freedom Wars Remastered would let this generation enjoy the brilliance.
For fans of action RPGs, dystopian worlds, or cooperative gameplay, Freedom Wars Remastered is more than a game-it's a call to arms. Whether you're a returning veteran or a curious newcomer, the fight for freedom has never looked or felt this good.
